🏗️ The "Same Old Routine" Trap: Why New Faces Lead to New Gains


It’s easy to get comfortable in a rhythm. We all have our favorite spot in the studio, our favorite playlist, and that one instructor whose cues just click. But growth rarely happens in the comfort zone. The moment we get too used to a routine is the moment our progress begins to plateau.

The truth? Variety is the secret sauce of athleticism. This February, you’re going to see a lot of movement on our schedule—new time slots, fresh faces, and some incredible guest instructors stepping in. We know that a "Sub" on the schedule can sometimes feel like a reason to stay home, but we’re challenging you to see it as an opportunity.

A new coach brings a new set of eyes to your form, a different way to motivate you through that final minute, and a fresh energy that keeps your brain (and your muscles) guessing. Our community is bigger than just one person or one time slot; it’s a collective of experts all dedicated to your goals.

Don't let a change in the lineup be the reason you miss your session. Use this month to embrace the "pivot." Show up for the sub, try the new time slot, and support the coaches who are stepping up to keep our energy high. We are evolving so that we can keep providing the best environment for you to crush your goals.

FEBRUARY VENDOR SPOTLIGHT!


Meet NEXUS Vendor, Sean Rimmer of Run Potential!


Originally from Buffalo, NY, Sean has been residing in Colorado Springs since 2016. He graduated from Daemen University in Buffalo, NY with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. He earned his National Board Certification in Orthopedics through the American Physical Therapy Association in 2020. As a Physical Therapist, he has practiced in the emergency department and outpatient setting. He recently started his own out-of-network physical therapy practice in January of 2022 with a focus on treating runners and active goal-oriented adults dealing with musculoskeletal pain or injury. He is a husband to a lovely wife, Abrianna, and a dog dad to a 3-year old rescue dog, Sadie. In his spare time, he enjoys trail running, mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with his wife & dog.

Known for her quick wit and infectious energy, Janna is famous for cracking jokes from the warmup all the way through the cool-down. She proves that you can train hard while making sure everyone around you is having a great time.
