🎆 The "Fresh Start" Fallacy: Why Your Resolution Doesn’t Need to Be Perfect


January often brings a wave of "all-or-nothing" energy—the pressure to be a brand-new version of yourself the moment the calendar flips. We set ambitious resolutions, but the moment life gets busy or a workout is missed, it’s easy to feel like we’ve "failed" and should just wait until next year.

The truth? Growth isn't a straight line. The secret to a successful New Year isn't never falling off the wagon; it’s simply refusing to stay off. If you miss a few days or lose your momentum, don't view it as a finish line—view it as a breather. What matters most isn't a perfect streak, but your intention to return. Fitness is a lifelong practice, not a thirty-day sprint. This month, let go of the pressure to be flawless and focus on being persistent. Whether you’re here every day or finding your way back after a break, you’re exactly where you need to be. Let’s make this year about the resilience it takes to start again, as many times as you need.

UPCOMING EVENTS IN OUR COMMUNITY!


💪 New NEXUS Schedule!




We’re rolling into the new year with a refreshed class schedule to help you train smarter, recover better, and keep crushing your goals! Please read carefully, as some classes and times have changed.


🧘‍♀️ Schedule Updates


We’ve made a few changes to better balance training and recovery.


Yoga and weekday Flexibility classes have been removed.


Saturdays will now feature:

S/C Class: 10:00–10:45am

Restorative Yoga: 11:00–11:45am (a perfect post-training recovery class!)

Thursdays will now include an Active Recovery Class from 6:30–7:15pm.

This class will rotate weekly:

Week 1: Active Yoga

Week 2: Flexibility

Week 3: FMS/FCS/FMB/CMB (6:15–7:45pm)

Week 4: Foam Rolling


🏋️‍♀️ General Gym Updates


Open Gym Hours: Now 11am–3pm (no longer 9am–3pm).

Afternoon Classes: Now run at 4:30pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm.

Classes are 45 minutes long with a 15-minute buffer between classes for the staff to reset.

Members are always welcome to use these 15 minutes to stretch before & after class!

Thursday WL → Now 5:30–6:15pm (was 6–6:45pm)

Morning & ISO Noon classes → Remain the same

Whether she is stepping in to lead our yoga classes or showing up for her own workouts, Benefsheh is the definition of consistency. She doesn't just attend; she fully participates in all the things, making our community stronger simply by being a part of it. We are especially thankful for her willingness to sub and share her expertise, helping us find our flow and balance even on the busiest days.
